First of, I like old AFI. Second, the only reason this version of A7X exists is because they try to hop on trendy bandwagons to steal all the money of little girls and little boys who listen to them because they think they get chicks if they like A7X. Let's face it, if Nu Metal didn't die and was still popular, A7X would do Nu Metal. They have no identity at all.

What do you mean by "this version?" I dont think Avenged Sevenfold expected songs like Bat Country and Seize the Day to be popular with all the little girls and boys you refer to. They didnt hop on any bandwagon with COE, theres no other "popular" band to young kids that sounds like they do. If they have no identity, then who are they mimicking? Theyre pretty unique in my opinion

First off how dare you insult Thrice, they are amazing. Second A7x suck really bad. They aren't very unique they take melodic metal, thrash and a bit of hardcore and create a generic brand of metalcore and recently generic, slightly thrashy heavy metal.

First off no need to get all emotional because I'm insulting one of your favorite bands. You may not of said Thrice never change their sound but you implied it, if you didn't mean to...well just understand your choice of words did. Following the claim of Thrice do suck with the claim A7x change their sound on every album was that implication. Anyway nothing here has changed my opinion of A7x and why would it. As for my album of the year it's either going to be The Pax Cecilia, The Kidcrash or BTBAM.

hmm...ok, im a total noob, how do you put quotes in your comment?? and yeah, critical acclaim did really annoy me, although a7x is my favorite band...it was good for the first 2 mintues but then got too repetitive and the soft part didnt fit with the song at all...i really do hope the rest of the album is better, ive been waiting for it for a year and a half
