Curious to know how this will sound in relation to the rest of the album, but as a single this is kinda underwhelming.
| |
Not feeling this at all tbh
| |
Verses are neat
| |
This sounds better than I expected, which goes to show you that after 45+ years, SNL can't mix bands properly at all. [2]
| |
pleasantly surprised by this. not amazing by any means but it's at least different than the typical formula.
| |
really good song, dunno when they're gonna realize that Dave isn't a good enough vocalist to do "ohhhhhh" choruses tho
| |
PDXGOON always sucked when it came to mixing bands on their show. I know with BBC Radio 1 when bands perform on there the sound quality and overall mixing is impeccable
| |
Not what I expected, this certainly peaks my interest for the rest of the album if nothing else.
| |
Not what I expected, which is good. But not what I want to listen to ever again, which is bad.
| |
Oof, you’re in trouble when you’re a singles band and the first single is this boring.
Dave needs to just stick to Drums unless he can pull out another Wasting Light which was a pretty solid album.
| |
Decent.
| |
Solid stuff
| |
The SNL performance of this was borderline awkward
| |
It's a slow burn song, much like the fire in the background of the video. Could use an explosion or something to really elevate it though.
| |
Song is decent! I remember people were unsure on “The Sky is a Neighbourhood” back on the last album and over time liked it more. This one feels like another grower
| |
This is Netflix teaser background music. If this gets embedded in a decent tracklist, it might work. But then again, as for a single, this is pretty much a snoozefest.
| |
meh
| |
Thought it was pretty good. The verses sound different for them.
| |
i like it wtf
| |
makes sense their last album was super lame
| |
passionless even, their last album, I mean.
| |
actually the last two albums, really, just passionless shite
| |
i saw the live performance on SNL, the guitars were far more prominent, sounded more organic. even there, my thoughts were "this might be okay if I were stoned out of my mind and just vibing"
but this studio mix with all the cutesy production and claps and shit...fucking awful. it barely worked as it was. this is horrible. i like dave's ambition though.
| |
Is okay, but played repeatedly on the radio. 😰
| |
I kinda want another Foo Fighters album to listen to, the s/t and Wasting Light are fun. Hopes are low for this though.
| |
actually like this song, I'm all for them doing something slightly different for a first single
if they'd dropped another rock single this comment section would be "why does every song sound they do sound the same" god knows
| |
This song neither rocks or rolls. Definitely blows though I'll give it that.
| |
Being different isnt going to automatically make it good.
| |
I didn't say it would, adolfchrist
| |
Nice
| |
I'd rather listen to modern Coldplay than anything from these guys
| |
Verses are actually really good and I dig the production choices.
Chorus is like listening to someone wank to Lenny Kravitz.
| |
love it honestly
| |
pretty neat jam
