Introducing: Big REM Machine 2020-06-12 by Rowan5215 EMERITUS | 2 Comments | Big Red Machine, the collaborative project between The National's Aaron Dessner and Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, has continued its mission to endlessly expand and suck every esteemed indie musician into its orbit. The band's latest release, "No Time For Love Like Now", features vocals by the one and only Michael Stipe, the godfather figure that basically every collaborator in the band can trace their influences back to.
According to the release statement, this song is the first of more than 20 that Big Red Machine have been working on. Collaborations with Phoebe Bridgers and producer BJ Burton were previously teased in YouTube videos.
