Morbid Angel plan new album

2006-05-03 by Alex101 | 4 Comments
There has been a word that Morbid Angel are writing a new studio album. There are no announcements when it will be recorded.

Morbid Angel recently planned to release a released a remaster of the 1989 album Altars of Madness as a DualDisc. The DVD side of the DualDisc will include the long-sought-after November 1989 Nottingham Rock City show filmed on the band's first-ever European outing, the legendary Grindcrusher Tour and is the first Morbid Angel material to see an official DVD release.

Morbid Angel's follow-up to 2003's Heretic is expected to be released sometime later this year or 2007 via Earache Records. It will also be their first release with original bassist David Vincent since 1995's Domination.

Yes, this sounds badass. I'll definitely be checking out that Altars of Madnass re-issue. I sure as hell hope the new album is better than Heretic, too.

With Vincent back, I'm expecting great things. I can't wait for this! Doesn't sound like it'll be any time soon, though.
