Bob Dylan Tribute Soundtrack 2007-08-13 by FlawedPerfection EMERITUS | 11 Comments | An upcoming Bob Dylan movie I'm Not There has an over thirty song soundtrack of Dylan covers from popular artists. The movie itself will portray Dylan with different actors for each stage of his life, such as Heath Ledger and Richard Gere. The Million Dollar Bashers, a band consisting of members from Television, Sonic Youth, and Wilco, plays back up for many of the tracks as does Calexico. I'm really interested in this film...the fact that it's not so straight-forward in telling Dylan's story (the kid playing him as a young boy is black). It's gonna be interesting.
