Cryptic Tera Melos Updates 2007-08-02 by 204409 EMERITUS | 9 Comments | Roseville, CA artists Tera Melos though touring the country with Facing New York seem to be updating their myspace fairly often. Among the updates are two new songs, "When Worms Learn to Fly" and "Where's the Worm." The band insinuated that these tracks are from an upcoming split CD with an unnamed band. However, in another blog update they said that the info about the secret split is floating around the internet somewhere.

And about that management group, Tera Melos have also announced that they have signed with the management group Sargent House who also manage Maps and Atlases, These Arms Are Snakes, and Russian Circles. The band asked listeners to think of this group as a 4th band member, which may account for the weird singing found on the newest track.

or maybe you'll like this new stuff a lot and use that pesky word "progression" to defend the melos' honor. whether you like it or not, we still love you. even though i kind of dissed you above, we are stoked that we've left enough of an impression on people for them to scramble to the boards.

Also, going back to the cryptic split CD, when you click on the two songs on their myspace, the album names given are Where's the Worm and Complex Full of Phantoms, neither of which strike me as a band name or any normal way to name a split CD, duhhhh.
Either way all of this news is exciting and all new Tera Melos material is appreciated. Catch them on tour for the rest of the summer.

I figured they would do 'Driving to mt. Hood' and this other song that was floating around on youtube. I definitely like these songs but I hope they'll record those sometime.

| | | I don't think I could possibly care less.
| | | What if the split was with Insane Clown Posse.
| | | My attitude would do a 180.

I still need to get "Drugs to the dear Youth".
| | | yayz!
| | | They were clear the other band on the split is one of my home town favirotes By the End of Tonight. Both bands put new songs on there pages with the exact new album name "Complex full of Phantoms".
| | | The new track is really great. Got me back into this band.
