Tera Melos is an American math rock band. They play a brand of music characterized by quick multiple finger-taps on theguitar,shifting odd time signatures, start-stop dynamics, and numerous effects.They are currently a three-piece, (formerly four) consisting of guitar, bass and drums. In early 2007, Tera Meloswent on tourwithThe Fall of Troy, Portugal. The Man, and Damiera. Their style is heavily influenced by jazz, post-hardcore, ambient, andelectronicmusic. Two of the members met in a jazz improvisation class in high school.
