worst song so far
| |
I like it more than “Blood” but I’m a huge fanboy and have lived all of the singles.
| |
I'm a huge fanboy too but I've been disappointed in most of these singles so far.
| |
Ah. Idk they’ve all just hit the right spot for me
¯_(ツ)_/¯
| |
I'm with TheGreatQ on this one. For me this is the 2nd best song so far. Burnley's vocals are excellent on this thing.
| |
best song released from this album so far.... perfect balance of that early 2000's nu metal heaviness with later 2000's breaking benjamin hooks
| |
Love the band, but Dark Before Dawn had to grow on me. Have a feeling this one will feel a bit underwhelming at first too. Singles so far have been hit and miss, I prefer this sound to the plodding "heaviness" of Red Cold River though.
This chorus sounds like it was ripped straight off of Phobia. I dig it.
| |
album is gonna sssssssssssslay
| |
This album might shape up to be their best. Absolutely love the heavy direction they’re taking.
| |
Dig
| |
the more i listen to this song the more i dig it.... such a good implementation of their roots and where they are now. like the rifffage is still very 'breaking benjamin' but the familiarity isn't too much of a problem and it's heavier vibe overall really carries the track
| |
the intro gives out a Korn vibe, honestly I'm not a huge fan of it.
The chorus is good though, as they usually are.
| |
man i probs woulda loved this when i was like 10 years old
| |
Definitely the best song they've released the song.
The production is ace- loving the bass in that intro.
Can't wait for the album to drop ^.^
| |
Damn that was great
| |
I unironically love this. It's exactly the right amount of heavy/mainstream/cheese for me.
| |
Best single so far ez for me, definitely has more depth than the others
| |
The riffs are very similar to Red's Out from Under if I recall that song correctly. Hate the vocal effects, song would be ok if it weren't for them. Transitions from heavy to melodic are nice, production is terrible but that might be the video.
| |
lol you guys like this crap?
| |
Hahaha. I think I like this. Guilty pleasure. Nice mood and melody.
| |
Solid BB
| |
They’re just playing for the masses, trying to sell their shit
| |
^ you can do that and still write good songs tho
| |
I really like this one, Blood was a little better imo. I think I'm going to end up really enjoying this album.
| |
can this band just foad already jesus they're bad
| |
^ agreed
| |
surprised that this many people actually liked this
| |
I usually can't stand more than ten seconds of this kind of simple, over-produced radio rock. Maybe some nostalgia is mixed in there too though, because I can't quite bring myself to dislike this guys as easily as I would their contemporaries. Phobia and Dear Agony are solid and I've liked everything I've heard from this album so far.
| |
Yep, that's definitely a BB song. I enjoyed their old stuff and I still maintain that they are better than most radio rock bands, but this song is nothing special. If I didn't have nostalgia for this band I probably wouldn't be able to stand this.
| |
Can't understand what happened to this band after phobia
| |
drinking game: take a shot every time breaking benjamin says 'cold'
| |
Also this song was solid. I don't know what it is about BB, they are just good songwriters. There's nothing original about it but it's catchy and enjoyable to listen to. Also ben is just a great vocalist to me. Something about his voice that's so pleasing to the ears.
| |
I didn't mind Blood all that much, but this honestly just sounds like a lazy refrain of that track.
| |
Like, I acutally think that the riff in the intro to this song is just the first 3 notes used in the melody for Blood.
| |
Not really great but they have mastered the BB chorus.
| |
Didn't like any of the singles so far . It might be the dissapointing album of the year for me ...
| |
I decided I dig this. Finally more instrumental depth and I just realized that this song has a proper guitar solo after a couple of listens
| |
Song is getting too much backlash. Cmon guys this is a million times better than Dark Before Dawn.
| |
not really, they're pretty much similar in quality, which makes it all the more disappointing
maybe if they got a different producer...
| |
Definitely better than the other two singles.
| |
What is with the filter on his voice or whatever it is?
| |
time for mfers to realise that 3dg were always the better band but now both of them suck harder than a prossie with dentures
| |
^ LOL
| |
One-X is better than everything BB will ever do. The last two TDG albums are worse than anything BB will ever do. Both bands are irrelevant as of now and there's no good reason to listen to their new stuff in 2018.
| |
They have written the same songs over and over, of course they aren't relevant. Nothing about music in general would have changed if they had stopped making music and people would have listened to Phobia for the 1000th time instead of the last record. They are both completely unremarkable as of now. 10 years ago they at least contributed to the popularity of the genre. They've both become nostalgia bands and most people on this thread that still care about them only care because they cared back then. It's as simple as that.
| |
Yea I wouldn't even check this out if I didn't love Phobia back when it came out
| |
"One-X is better than everything BB will ever do."
naaah 3dg pales so hard compared to this band, like in every possible aspect imaginable in music imo. Except maybe vocals because I admit that Gontier had his charm.
"not really, they're pretty much similar in quality, which makes it all the more disappointing"
Eh idk this song in particular seems much more interesting (which doesn't necessarily mean that it's super interesting ofc) than anything on DBD to me
| |
Cue cliche BB chorus that everyone has heard 1000x
| |
I still want to know what the fuck is up with his voice on this new stuff
| |
nothing TDG has done has ever compared to even the worst BB album
| |
Maybe I'm just fanboying but I think this is great. Blood is my favorite single and this is shaping up to be a great record.
