Idk I liked it, at least lyrically. It's really what the dude is facing down right now. It isn't all about technical rappers right now, and the shock factor he brought early in his career is now cliche. Gotta be rough to look at that and try to figure out where to go from there. Was good to hear him not just yelling into the mic for 5 minutes too.

Okay so I have mixed feelings on this song. Obviously it's just meant to be catharsis for him, and in that sense, I appreciated it. Very emotional and personal lyrics, and he doesn't even try to hide what he means, he just comes right out and says it. On the other hand...it's not really enjoyable as a song, and is a baffling choice for a single. He proved he can still make good songs like Rap God and Rhyme or Reason, let's hope he didn't lose that in the 4 years since the last album.

@Mayhem: Imo this song could have stood on its own as an enjoyable 3/5 but was brought down to a 2 by Beyonce's annoying hook.

The problem was that here on this track it always feels like Eminem is (just about to) jump into a really fast, dynamic verse but never ends up doing it. The product is enjoyable but overall leaves you wanting more.

Hopefully he'll pick up the pace on other tracks on the album.

He's a "lyrical" rapper in a rap game that places less emphasis on lyrics than it ever has... and he's rapping about how everyone thinks he's trash now, but he doesn't have the self awarness to realize that everything he gets criticized for (from a songwriting perspective at least) is more than present in this song, from the shitty beat to the internal rhyme abuse to the way too complex for it's own good flow to the shamelessly poppy hook that just so happens to be delivered by one of the biggest names in pop/Rnb.
