Song titles are stupid, but this new track is quite enjoyable. Damn I am actually gonna fuckin give this a listen.
| |
Just when I thought that FiR are gonna do something much serious, the tracklist comes in.
Hope that's not a sign of things to come, because I've enjoyed Coming Home.
| |
paparazzi better be a lady gaga cover
| |
for the love of god i hope not

I'll bet anything it is

14. If I Wasn't White I'd Be In Prison
| |
I'm a little confused by the track titles myself, Ronnie's statement let me to believe this album would be moving away from their previous material.
Either way, the two songs released have been fantastic so far so I'm not too concerned.
| |
song titles are fucking laughably stupid but this and the first single are catchy as hell so i'm prob gonna give it a listen
| |
wow 30yr old manchild continues to write songs with cringy names! what a surprise!
| |
I'll admit that the song titles are pretty bad, but 'Loser' could have been a LOT worse. I still see promise in this album.
| |
the promise of a 2/5?
| |
so much ~angst
| |
I still see promise in this album.
that's really upsetting
| |
I don't know, I just try to stay hopeful.
| |
this band is the epitome of corruption in the american criminal justice system

Space Rock album of the year

This is a raw demo of a song called The Departure from back when Ronnie was in jail. I wonder if it will be similar at all to this or if its just a completely new song with the same name.
| |
I actually like this song. Catchy shit
| |
"Guess I am a loser"
Oh wow, he finally figured it out. We'll that's an interesting progression.
| |
yeah yeah I'm just a loser yeah yeah
| |
three or four albums later he's still writing about having been in prison. yo like come up with some other content.
| |
Eh, it's fine. Probably be like their last album, fun, but average.
| |
I liked the first track they released. This one not so much.
| |
yeah I thought the first track was okay, nothing great but certainly listenable. This one is just eeehh.
| |
I can't stand his singing, honestly. I actually ended up tolerating the last single because the stacking and overabundance of the effects hid that nasally, over-pronounced, deep-throating thing he does with his voice. Normally this band is not my thing, but that track had me interested in this LP.
This song is going back to the angsty, pop-punk sound that I've never liked from them--only now with 20% more David Bowie and Daft Punk influence.
I will probably pass.
| |
cringy titles, but this and Coming Home are catchy asf
| |
@Zach I feel the exact opposite about his singing, but I have a massive nostalgia factor with ETFs first album being the one of the first albums I ever loved
| |
this isn't as good as the other single but I mean I want to listen to this
title tracks are complete wank but you can't 180 that hard without some slip ups
