enjoyed the article title, as for the song, not so much
| |
Thanks, I'm proud of it bby.
I enjoyed it for the most part, the actual song is much better tho
| |
i'll have to try the original then, have never jammed these guys
| |
wow that was bad
| |
haven't had a good cringe in a while. thanks m8
| |
why are they doing this
| |
Terrible remix, abrupt starts and stops with a kick drum in the back lol
And why do they all have the same haircut
| |
To further the fuckboi image mane
| |
Ebb & flow
| |
their stylist gives them a discount if they get the same cut
| |
the structure of this track is so random
| |
Original track is much better
| |
yeah but this ain't that
| |
Sadly that's the case. I don't know, I enjoyed it for the most part, but they tried too hard to remix it when it never should've been remixed in the first place
| |
Bands love to do unnecessary remixes
| |
ugh these guys suck
| |
You make me cry
| |
man im really enjoying this
yeah its random and shitty but whatever it's fun and it's not like they even intended for anything else
| |
Scott threw in a new solo in this mix which sounded great
| |
Is he the one with the hair or the other one with the hair
| |
The one with the hair
But to answer it honestly he's not the Asian one, he has the nose that you could land a plane on
| |
this is terrible dude
| |
i kinda just want to bend tim's middle finger on his fretting hand up until it stays broken facing him
band puts on a good show but damn this is just horrible
| |
Tim gets better and better with every release, it's incredible how good he is at such a young age, same with Scott to be honest. Clay is a great bassist as well
| |
This is a horrible idea that has been executed very well
| |
I'm enjoying this a lot more than I normally do Polyphia, tbh. In fact, I normally can't stand Polyphia's tweedly nonsense, but this actually makes it palatable.
| |
Yeah they are definitely very talented and now how to write catchy instrumentals.
I am surprised the guitarists are still with Ibanez though. You'd think a brand like Kiesel would quickly snatch them up
| |
I enjoyed the fuck out of this remix, one of the catchiest things I've heard all year.
| |
@bloc yea they've been pretty damn loyal to Ibanez for the past few years, which is understandable considering that they're cheap and have relatively good quality
@BlackMalachite Yea I liked this, but as I've said numerous times, it's nothing compared to the original song
| |
I haven't heard the original.
| |
Then do it my guy
| |
Do you have a link? I can't find the original on Youtube.
| |
Heres a link to the original song for those who haven't heard it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_x5_9SD0SqM
| |
hmmm, not really digging the original either
| |
I really enjoy both of them just about the same honestly.
| |
They seem to be one of those bands that people either really like or really don't like, strange. I love them tho
| |
I really don't get what ppl like about these guys. their music is bland wank at its best, silly pop at its worst moments. this particular song and vid are among the cringiest things I heard this year and supposed to be irony I guess, but you can't be sure with these guys.
| |
Can't deny their talent tho
| |
I actually found this to be pretty enjoyable.
| |
This remix is awful but the normal album is fantastic. Oh well
| |
"Can't deny their talent tho"
idk talent is pretty subjective, like yea they're technically skilled but that doesn't make them talented songwriters. talent strikes me as more appropriate as a term towards songwriting than towards technical skill
| |
Then I guess it's pretty subjective, I love their songwriting haha. Even back in their days of playing metalcore I thought they were great songwriters
| |
These guys are talented musicians and songwriters...I don't understand how that could be argued even if you don't like their stuff. They aren't the best in the genre by any means but they have talent in what they do.
| |
I really like the remix but I'll admit it's almost unbearably sugary sweet at times. I imagine Bieber all over this.
| |
metal for people who can't handle metal
| |
these guys were cute for a few months but now they're unbearable
| |
So, I've been watching the Dunlop Sessions on youtube and while they're generally amazing (Casualties of Cool, Big Wreck, Eric Gales) these guys somehow got on there too, and in one of their interviews between songs one of the guitarists (the one with the hair, not the nose) said they only listen to pop radio and not anything else from their genre because they don't want to be influenced by what their peers are doing. Suddenly it all made sense.
| |
that explains so much tbh
| |
Probably why they shifted their sound so much in the span of only 4 years
| |
Those Dunlop sessions are gold. Everyone always sounds good on them lol. But yeah, that's an interesting approach they're taking. They definitely have a signature sound because of it.
| |
these guys are bad and super douchey
somebody steal all their equipment for the love of god
| |
When I met these guys last year they were really cool actually.
| |
I actually quite enjoy this - it's incredibly twee and contrived, but it's catchy as all shit.
I do however prefer Tosin Abasi's contribution to the latest Machinedrum record for a bit of a different take on the same sound though...
