I feel like these tracks are a little too "out there". Lyrics are basically random words mashed together and hardly any flow or structure or anything.

Love both of these, but Over Soon is just an entirely new level for him. Holy crap.

Wow. Apparently anything creative is just "random words?" Lol

I can see the random words description going for the 2nd track, but Over Soon definitely has a tangible meaning to it, even if it takes a bit of brain power to decipher it.

First track is pretty decent. Not quite sure how I feel about the second one. I feel like it's a risky move to have such a drastic change in sound over the course of a single record.

I was there at Eaux Claires, new album was phenomenal imo and such a cool thing to be a part of. However it was pretty heavy on samples and vocal effects... Hard to form an opinion on that aspect after only one listen.

He's like that kid who wants to fit in so bad that he follows the group around, and he waits for the perfect moment to unleash his "wit."

All that follows is crickets and one hand raised in the air waiting for that high five that never comes.

At least you figured out that less equals more, but in your case, just logging off entirely and never coming back would be for the best. Ya know, go outside, find people who might be able to bear your presence, find a girlfriend who's willing to deal with your sad little schmeckel, and let your mom have the privacy she so desperately desires.

I haven't listened to the S/T enough to have a valid opinion on if, but For Emma is anytning but boring IMO. It's quiet and nuanced, but that doesn't mean it's boring. The only track on there that I could see as boring is Blindsided.

It's tedious, directionless, and emotionless. And aside from some glimmering moments in the first track, it's completely lifeless. The last album wasn't that great, either. It was a 2.9/5 at best.
