Cool track. I don't know if it'll live up to Watching from a Distance or the Inside Room right away for me, but it'll probably grow on me. Very subdued, but his voice is as captivating as ever.

oh, well fuck...i guess i saw this coming, but i was hoping they would at least retain some of that doom metal influence.

Sure, it pretty much sounds like The Inside Room without distortion, but i guess Walker is allergic to dynamics. Wouldvr been nice if they made some use of it.

it is really growing on me tbh, the vocal melody is wonderful (which is unsurprising)

oh yeah, dont get me wrong, i like the new song a lot.
