I love how Dustin brings back a little of his raspy voice in this one. Fantastic track. By far, the best track out of the 3. Really looking forward to this album.

This is so damn good. Might actually be better than O'Brother's Endless Light, and that was the best album I've heard in years

Endless Light is my AOTY so far and I won't mind if Thrice tops it.

I was slightly fearful that the more overtly political lyrics would lead into Rise Against style territory but whoa that verse about the pastor is Dustin at his powerful best. Roll on Friday and the UK show in August :D

Yeah, Thrice has been political before, but they're really coming hard on this one it seems. I'm hoping they're saving some non-political stuff before.

Also, yes, definitely best of 3 new songs

So they've released singles about Islamaphobia, conflict in the Middle East, and precision drone strikes. I love this band.

Anyone else getting a Finch vibe from this? He totally sounds like Nate Barcalow in the chorus. Which I think is awesome. Great track.

Really enjoying this song, and the others... feels a bit more like a guilty pleasure than Thrice should, but I'm still enjoying it. And the xenophobia, foreign affairs, drone strike lyrics seem to justify the meat-headed choruses and tone for some reason. I don't know.

Sounds like a song inspired by Brandon Byrant's experiences/testimony.

I don't know why, but I'm kind of dreading a full-on political release. Maybe they'll mix in some more intimate subject matter, but so far that doesn't seem to be a part of the plan and that might even just not fit at this point. Couple more days, boys. I really hope I end up liking this album.

The last 2 songs were meh, but this is great. I am somewhat dreading a political album as well because of the condition of the world right now. Their lyrics have always been able to relate to anyone but Hes basically condemning everything im supporting in this election.
