Baroness is better than Mastodon. Check out First, Second, and Red if you haven't. If you've only listened to Yellow and Green you're missing out.

Yellow and Green were lame, imo. This sounds better, but I'm not too excited. I want Red pt. 2 and Blue pt 2. even if that is a shit thing to ask for.

The music is a bit too polished and clean (especially at the start) to mesh with the rough vocals...so then the only other problem is that these guys just write lyrics to have something to sing since they're absolutely meaningless.

Ugh why are they still going? They're not bad musicians, but good lord are they sterile and boring.

I still think Y&G was a bit underrated, it was very diverse and had so many great songs. Excited to see how this one turns out.

Y&G is disliked because they tried something different, which is something Metal fans have a low tolerance for.

Green is the best thing they've done. Great album to unwind to.
