I get what you're saying. The link with new artwork and the past works is that the tesseract symbol is still present and retains the same shape (despite being made of of cubes). I don't like it much either though. I think it looks too chaotic and clumped together.

New song takes awhile to get your head around. Nice to hear some screams from Dan again, even though they're subtle.

i just thought the single was very basic coming from tesseract. doesn't seem like they want to push the boundaries with their sound

I think I saw an interview awhile ago with them and they said it's a slow progression of Altered State. It does sound like TesseracT, song almost sounds a bit like Palingenesis to me at parts. I dig the song. 3:09 onwards is awesome though! I hope they expand on the jazzy-free flowing ideas that we're Altered State a bit more on this.

The scream at 2:26 should deffo be higher in the mix. Love it when Dan does that kinda shriek thing.
