If I got caught drink-driving twice I wouldn't want to go to jail. But if I was caught driving without a licence and had several other offences I certainly would expect it. She should serve time, no doubt about it.

Go to The Exies MySpace page, sign the petition to throw Paris in jail and tell the NY Times to support real artists, real musicians, real actors, not shitty porn stars.
NOWHERE does it say that this is motley crue's petition. In fact, on the petition page it says that the petition is sponsored by the Handsome Bloggers for Civil Rights coalition. Motley Crue is just encouraging people to sign it.
I signed it a week or so ago, at that time it had 2,000 more signatures than a pardon paris petition (18,000 vs. 16,000.)

Has nobody noticed that most of the well publicized trails end up swaying to help the potential troublemaker? People bitch and moan about all of this. Hell, several jail sentences are reduced, even before being jailed. Don't you guys think that you might be prejudiced towards Paris Hilton because she is a star? I mean I dislike her quite a lot as well, but who the hell cares about her personal life? *stands off of soap box*
