The Beatles Go Online 2007-05-12 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 7 Comments | Paul McCartney has revealed that a deal to make the entire Beatles catalogue available for sale digitally is "virtually settled."
The singer was speaking in advance of the release of his first Starbucks Hear Music release Memory Almost Full (clever title, yeah?), which will be the first of his releases to go on sale online.
All prior plans to release the Beatles' catalogue online have been complicated by the band's high-profile legal dispute with Apple Computers, owner of the iTunes music service, over copyright relating to the Beatles' own creation, Apple Corps.
