Avril Lavigne doing "Imagine." Has she not ruined enough fantastic songs?

Pretty cool concept. I dont know how i feel about avril and the black eyed peas being on here. Aerosmith and matisyahu should be tight though.

Avril Lavigne and Green Day make me sad

I already know Regina will be amazing. Ive heard her play 'Real Love' twice live now.

Plus it's up on youtube.

I'm interested in hearing
Christina Aguilera, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jakob Dylan featuring Dhani Harrison, Jack Johnson, and Snow Patrol.

Well this was made for the benefits to go to Darfur, so i guess that's why they used big names

Either you hate or love her, she is a big name in music, everyone has heard of her, so that's the reason for putting her on a cd which the proceeds go to a good cause. This Message Edited On 04.30.07This Message Edited On 04.30.07

I'll probably buy it for Los Lonely Boys, Jackson Browne, Snow Patrol, Ben Harper, Matisyahu, Postal Service, Flaming Lips, and Regina, but also because Darfur is one of the most important issues today. I'm already digging R.E.M.'s #9 Dream.

Ill bet all the songs on here are better than the originals. John Lennon never did it for me.

they should have made avril lavigne do a different song, you can't have imagine twice, especially on the same disc.

The REM cover sucks...and I like REM...but I am interested in hearing Jakob Dylan with Dhani Harrison. The Finger 11 cover is also crappy. But the Sheers cover of Instant Karma is decent. This Message Edited On 05.03.07

I thought the Cure was supposed to be on this???

George Harrison's and Bob Dylan's sons should be interesting... although I don't care for the Wallflowers, and I haven't heard Dhani.

Where's Sean?
