Nightingale returns! 2014-10-16 by rayraypine | 10 Comments | Legendary death metal vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Dan Swanö, has finally
returned after a seven year hiatus with his 70's rock inspired group Nightingale.
Retribution will mark the bands 7th album of new material and the second album in two years to see
Swanö back in the lead vocalist chair.
The lead single from the album, "Forvermore," is currently streaming on soundcloud.
The new album is due for release on January 27th 2015 in North America and November 10th 2014 for all the cool kids in Europe.

Saw this a few days ago. Good news! Song is pretty decent, but I'm just glad to see Swano relevant again. Seems he fixed his death metal voice enough to do Witherscape, and now he's finishing Nightingale ^_^

Indeed. I think the chorus is up there with one of his best.
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the growl in his voice since I love his clean melodic voice he has traditionally used with Nightingale... but I'll probably get over it :-)

Swano is actually hit and miss, mostly hit though.
Nightingales discography has some huge flaws to it. But the good album are amazing.
