They really haven't progressed lyrically, that's for sure. I swear, it's just like Numb.

Don't like the single, although I'll probably end up buying the album...hope there's atleast still some creativity on the album.

Yeah not bad, but definitely a let down. Then again singles are usually the most popular sounding/less experimental tracks on any given album, so hopefull it isn't very representative of the rest of the record.

ppl here on sputnick will kill me for that, but i love the single,
at first listen: hmm mediocre

but after 3-4 tries: i just cant let go of the chorus and all the tiny itsy bitsy noises in the background, i love this song

what i've done it ringing in my head all the time,

well on a side note: chester looks horrible in the new video, but everyone looks great, the video itself is a one to one copy of best of you by foo fighters

and i bet that will be a mix of old LP and Foo Fighters^^
the new logo fits to the new LP, but i liked the old one more^^This Message Edited On 04.03.07This Message Edited On 04.03.07

I was expecting something a little better, but I still like it. They focused a little more on the guitars than usual, I think this could be change for the better

As a longtime LP fan, I was let down by the track. It's not bad, exactly, but it's just not very good. I was super disappointed that Mike didn't do any rapping; I hope this isn't a reflection of the rest of the album. The guitars feel more prominent than usual, and that makes the sound so much more generic than typical LP.

Mike isnt going to rap anymore, well not as often as on the old albums, he is going to sing a lot more, well even sing whole ongs on his own

I can see myself getting used to LP with no rapping. Mike can do a lot more than just rap and Chester is a fantastic vocalist, so its kind of a win-win situation IMO.

Akira is that a 12 stringer? I played a 12 string bass once before but it it was set up like a 12 string guitar in that 3 strings were close together and meant to be struck at the same time. 12 individual strings would be insane.

Good to see alot of you metalheads getting your priorities straight about this garbage band hahahahahaha. I was getting a little worried when I saw so many people liking that 30 second clip that was released about a month ago. These guys will never change and will only get worse with time!

This song is different, but it's not metal. The band sounds like a generic rock band now.

I'm indifferent to it. I'll reserve judgment on the rest of the album until after I've listened to it, but on this track I don't hear this revolutionary change in their sound that they were talking about. Sounds pretty much LP to me. It's not bad, but it's not anything interesting either.

It's soothing, but it's also substanceless.
