Vocalists leave King Conquer

2013-11-05 by Italianjesusfootball | 15 Comments
King Conquer recently announced via Facebook that James Mislow (vocals) and Chris Whited (drums/vocals) will be leaving the band. The spots were quickly filled with Bryan Long as the new vocalist and Ryley Dipaola as the new drummer; both Ryley and Bryan are also members of the deathcore band Dealey Plaza.

A re-recorded version of the song 'Tyranny', with Bryan on vocals, can be heard here:

Ryley Dipaola with a drum play-through of the song 'A Day Late.. A Dollar Short', can be found here:

I don't see bryan doing well, he can't do gutturals like chris what so ever.

I liked James; he was unique. New vocals: highs aren't too bad, but the mid to lows are absolutely deplorable. If you're gonna do deathcore, at least get someone who doesn't sound subpar even within the genre.

I really dig this band and the reason why i liked them is because james lows are just undecipherable low and he has some good highs. plus chris is pretty good drummer so ya. new vocalist isnt to spectacular highs are good lows okay at best. new album isnt wonderful anyway. poop

I listened to both, expecting it to sound exactly the same. Sounded completely different with the new guy...isn't deathcore like the easiest genre to find a vocalist who sounds exactly the same as the one that left?
