Album rules.
| |
it was better than the last one
| |
Their best album hands down
| |
can't wait to 1
| |
the vocals make this pretty unlistenable tbqfh
| |
Halfway through this shit and it's pretty dull to be honest. The vocals are atrocious.
| |
Vocals are better than the ones on Dead Throne, especially the cleans
| |
the vocals are no worse than they were on dead throne
| |
The cleans are better, the harsh vocals are the same.
| |
harsh vox have improved a little bit imo
| |
Why'd they kick their keyboard player out when they use even more electronic shit than before?
| |
I agree that Mike's harsh vocals are a lot better here than on Dead Throne. They are more raw too.
| |
still not as good as they were on Zombie
| |
Mines only like 192 kbps.
| |
yeah uh no they're worse
dead throne's were horrible. these ones are just ok
| |
The production on this album is weak.
| |
his vocals sound much fuller here. they were annoyingly piercing on dead throne
| |
Band sucks apart from Zombie.
| |
whatever andcas
| |
doesn't really matter, they're both in the same ballpark under zombie
| |
I go yo back fish.
BRITS UNITE!
| |
ur a fuckin dick shut up dude
| |
the vocals on this are better than dead throne. honestly i think this might be better than dead throne.
| |
@andcas, haha. great song. great movie.
| |
Not really my thing.
| |
i only really go into brit mode when I'm around americans
| |
God, damn.
| |
Album is great. The cleans have improved so so much. 8:18 and Care More prove that the dudes voice is
actually getting better. Production is kind of annoying though.
| |
All the shit this band got on here, and as soon as Zombies came out everyone started jizzing over them.
This band is just awful.
| |
I didn't like the single from this at all. I can't remember the name though.
| |
I didn't like the singles either, but I'm halfway through and it is so fucking good.
| |
First Sight, and it's the worst song on the album from what I've heard so far, I'm on track 7 now.
| |
I can understand hating the screams at first, but they're definitely an acquired taste. I hated them first too but now they just sound more passionate.
| |
So far, the 3 songs they released beforehand, home for grave, martyrs, and first sight are the worst songs easily.
| |
Gloom and Sailor's Prayer doe.
| |
Gloom slays
| |
Album is surprisingly decent so far.
| |
it'll be a guilty pleasure at best
| |
dead throne's screams and production were shit. both have been improved here, but the songwriting's weaker
otherwise, they're basically the same
| |
Sounds rather shit if I'm being honest.
| |
At the moment, I wouldn't say this is better than Dead Throne.
| |
it's better than i was expecting.
| |
I had nothing else to listen to this week so I put this on repeat and gave it a real chance. Has grown on me a ton, I quite enjoy the whole thing, even the songs released earlier that I'm pretty sure I hated at the time. Definitely helps to listen to a CD rip through good earbuds.
| |
screams are more raw cause there's a lot less production on them. of course they sound less polished, but I kinda like it more this way. Album fucking rules.
| |
sounds like shit, these guys do the same thing on every album (at least since WRAABB) so whats the point in comparing this to past releases?
| |
I don't love hating them. They show potential...it's just that they usually suck, which disappoints me since they do have it in them to make good songs.
| |
This stands with August Burns Red and Counterparts as metal-core release of the year.
| |
can't believe they've managed to exist
| |
Everyone jerking this band off until andcas comes in and says that he doesn't like it
| |
Sounds like the dude lost his voice, awful.
| |
This album is easily their best, aside from Zombie - EP. Loving it more with every listen. Favorites: Gloom, Rumors, Number Eleven
| |
Album is almost a masterpiece.
| |
Vocals are pretty bad. I feel like they could be overlooked or gotten use to after a few listens though. Only heard the first song however.
| |
Vocals are sick! and I have never heard so much fun riffs from these guys than this album!
| |
Soooooooooooo much better. Talk about a band that started off as a laughing stock and maturing in the right ways.
| |
"This stands with August Burns Red and Counterparts as metal-core release of the year."
Lmfao, noooooooo. I enjoy this album but it doesn't have shit on ABR or Counterparts.
| |
does it suck? i bet it sucks
| |
holy fuck the vocals don't get much worse then this... but I find this band alluring and I am tempted to get this album.
| |
positive sputnik comment
| |
Clean singer actually doesn't sound annoying as fuck this time around. Holy shit.
| |
prepare your home page
| |
this is pretty bad
| |
'Lmfao, noooooooo. I enjoy this album but it doesn't have shit on ABR or Counterparts.'
lol no song on this album can compare to Compass or Cursed off of the new Counterparts album
| |
Jeremy sounds great so far.
| |
Zombie is great. This sucks.
| |
"lol no song on this album can compare to Compass or Cursed off of the new Counterparts album"
No song this band ever has or will write will be anywhere near as good as either of those songs.
| |
why do people always talk about the fuckin vocals when it comes to these bands? metal is all about the riffs
well these bands have no fucking riffs so yeah all you can do is bitch about the vocals
| |
This has some good songs.
| |
This is so good, Sailor's Prayer rules so much. Do people really think that Zombie is better than this?
| |
Mike's vocal style on this album is something you either love or hate. Some people might find the voice cracking emotional, some might find it emotionally compelling. Jeremy is at the top of his game however
| |
I think this is better than the EP and DT.. i like the vocals, less edited, more raw sounding, more emotion. Jeremy has never sounded so good before. Their best instrumental stuff for sure and the electronics kick ass. Overall very good album and for me their best.
| |
Listened to the first song and it was also my first experience with the band....
| |
They were always ok, nothing special but they have some enjoyable stuff
| |
Vocals are the best part of the album.
F U, runnin shit
| |
i haven't listened to this band since the zombie EP, but the harsh vocals have gone seriously down hill
| |
Title track rules
| |
Zombie EP is still their best, but Jeremy's singing has improved so much, it's incredible. I actually enjoy hearing him sing now. I wish Mike had improved his screaming, but he sounds pretty much like he did on Dead Throne. It's weird, though because Mike has both his best and worst moments on this album. It just seems like he doesn't really have a lot of control over his voice.
| |
Holdfast is still their best album closer ever
| |
wow I had no faith in this being good but sailor's prayer was better than anything on dead throne
FINALLY LESS PRODUCTION ON THE CLEAN VOCALS
| |
this band/album fucking sucks. the lyrics are predictable. the synths seem to serve as to distract from the boring riffs. music like this is nothing without its production, and even when it is well-produced, it still sounds like garbage to me.
| |
not even sure why I comment on this. you can all continue listening to your terrible music. after you're done, check out Hubardo.
| |
lol
| |
I've always liked Jeremy's voice, it has just always been extremely overproduced, he sounds soooo much better here without all that crap.
| |
this album is good but has a shitty closer. dead throne had a few good songs, including holdfast. Kansas is still their best song
| |
Digging this album quite a bit.
| |
andcas makes the same comment over and over
| |
Album is really good. I like the raw sound they went with. The lows are better here than Death Throne, his highs make him sound like a dying man.
| |
Best album these guys have made. Probably a 3.5 for me.
| |
