Guessing you must not be a fan of the vocals. Can't blame you though. The vocals were great on their first several albums but they have been subpar on Heliocentric and Antrhopocentric.

Sounds pretty cool, but the vocals aren't that strong. They're not god-awful, but they could do with some improvement. Especially the cleans.

Hmm, sounds like 3.5 material for me. Sure, there are shades of 4 moments, but the band doesn't seem
interested in fully embracing the more mystical moments.

There are some superb vocal moments on this but over all the vocal 'layer' does feel a bit tacked on above what was originally supposed to be an instrumental album.
I feel like the vocal version will be a good listen every time I want to see the album in a new light or refresh it a little, but from what I can tell the whole 'descent into the ocean' concept works better in the instrumental.
