ALREADY HYPED.

| |
The intro was pretty cool, but I didn't really dig much of the rest of it.
|
| |
Not bad. Really looking forward to this, especially with the roster of musicians that added to the album.
|
| |
Welp, it's gonna rule.
|
| |
Well that ruled harder than anything off of Era Vulgaris.
|
| |
yeah that was dope as FUCK
massive crowd too holy woah
|
| |
I love 3s and 7s, and it has a couple other really great songs, but overall, that album is so miss-able to me. "Songs For the Deaf" all day errr day.
|
| |
This track has more energy than anything off of EV, at the very least.
|
| |
sounds sweet
|
| |
Cool.
|
| |
Tough to judge the song based on a live performance, even if the band sounds great live. I'll have to wait for a real version.
|
| |
Can't believe Jon Theodore is their live drummer. holy shit.
|
| |
As cool as fuck as this is, it could sound entirely different on record. Every Era Vulgaris song sounds way sweeter live, so you can't judge anything off this because we'd all assume EV was great based on their live sound
|
| |
Also, Josh usually has really cool hair and he looks like some kind of junkie/cancer patient with that hair cut
|
| |
Consider me excited
|
| |
Oh God, I love that Motor Ave Bel Aire guitar. I can only hope I'll have the money to get one myself one day haha. The song is cool.
|
| |
YOU CALL IT GOD, I'LL WORSHIP THE SUN.
WITHOUT ALL HER FIRE THERE WON'T BE ANYONE.
|
| |
omg im weeping of joy
|
| |
not quite sure but will probably own on record
|
| |
Good song, but totally within their safety zone. They have plenty of tracks like that.
|
| |
If only they could tour with Josh Homme, Nick Oliveri, Dave Grohl and Mark Lanegan. IF ONLY...
|
| |
So good. Can't wait for this album
|
| |
Song is alright
|
| |
really cool song reminded me of lullabies to paralyze which is totally underrated
|
| |
I liked it. Way more straight-to-the-point than the bad bits of Era Vulgaris were. I just want to hear Dave Grohl's drum track on the record before I judge it fully.
Closest comparison point is In My Head, I think. Except this one's got more lift, a bit of a weirder vibe. I hope this six-year gap pays off.
|
| |
I don't feel it and I doubt they will write another good album.
|
| |
Pretty good, although I still think the new album is going to be purely functional, ie. so that they can play some new songs live.
|
| |
agreed
|
| |
Amazing concert yesterday... John Theodore ruled on the drums.
This song sounded amazing live; it made me even more excited about this new album.
Too bad they didn't played "Feel Good Hit"; "Mexicola"; "Regular John" or "3's & 7's"... they only had 1hr of stage time.

I'm not sure where EV gets all it's hate from...
Sick sick sick and make it wit chu are up there as two of my favourite queens songs.
|
| |
Josh Homme knows what he's doing.
|
| |
One of the coolest songs I've heard in the past few months
|
| |
I think Era Vulgaris is great but it's obviously the least liked out of all of their albums.
|
| |
so friggin pumped
|
| |
Jon Theodore is the man.
|
| |
I'm so happy.
|
| |
pretty good live, recorded it should kick major ass.
|
| |
Cool song
|
| |
Only on the record ^
|
| |
I found myself spinnig Era Vulgaris and the debut record more then any other QOTSA album. They just have the grower qualitiy. Rated R and SFTD are hitting you with their awesomeness during the first listen so you replay them many times in a row and an quickly grow tired.
Lullubies was great untill the last couple of songs.
This one is quite ambiguos. It does sound different, which is already a plus.
|
| |
"Only on the record ^"
Actually the record features Grohl, Theodore AND Castillo.
See the press release (posted here about a week ago)
|

They nailed it. High hopes for the new album.
Homme is skinny again, and his voice sounds a lot better than it has in 4-5 years.
|
| |
Rumor has it that we're getting the studio version tomorrow.
