Go Randy!
| |
Good for him
| |
whoa nice, he's handled himself really well through this whole thing as well
| |
great
| |
I'm glad he wasn't found guilty
| |
no, moral of the story is if someone dies the powers that be are actually doing their due diligence
| |
definitely what MO said
never really been a big LoG fan but the way he's handled himself throughout this whole ordeal speaks huge about his character
| |
Bad situation, no winners here.
| |
yeah there are no winners, but blythe didn't need to take the fall for all of it
| |
I can't believe this murderer is going to be set free and allowed to kill again. Good job Czech justice system.
| |
Glad to hear this.
| |
Good for him.
| |
Must've been the 'Free Randy' petition. American metal lives on!
| |
About fuckin' time
| |
Randy was incredibly respectful, classy, and responsible throughout this whole thing.
Glad to see justice done (everything shown in video seemed to indicate he wasn't guilty).
| |
also, it takes a strong and understanding family to not blame someone else in this situation for their son's death, and instead look at the whole picture and realize that no one needs to be imprisoned for what happened. regardless, sad situation, hats off to them as well for being humane, intelligent, and respectful, and hopefully good things come their way. sincere condolences for their loss, etc.
| |
Agreed EvilFord, I'm just saying if he's as good a guy as he seems this will probably haunt him
forever.
| |
probably..
| |
Great news, it's about time
| |
good news
| |
never really been a big LoG fan but the way he's handled himself throughout this whole ordeal speaks huge about his character [2]
| |
Thank god.
| |
Forgot about this. Good news.
Pretty rad how he kept his cool throughout this ordeal.
| |
wow agreed with just about everyone else, this guy's a lot more mature than I thought
| |
It's horrible what happened to that kid, but blaiming Randy simply because he's an easy target is just fucked up. Glad he wasn't found guilty.
| |
Go Randy! Still tragic when all is said and done, though.
| |
he handled himself brilliantly
| |
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward.
| |
Its about time holy shit they have been giving him a hard time about all this
| |
That's how trials work
| |
now this matter can be laid to rest
| |
Good thing we found a resolution.
But let's face it, the prosecution was set to fail from the start.
| |
fuck
| |
Well this is a relief. I didn't think he would be found guilty, but a small part of me was still a little worried. Glad to see that it's over.
| |
I'm glad he has been found innocent.
| |
SO GOD DAMN EASY TO WRITE THIS
| |
So much respect for Randy. He showed the world (or whoever noticed) that metalheads are just primal emotionless beings. Can't wait to see them all playing and touring again!
| |
Cool
| |
Damn, I thought he was a goner. Glad he isn't. :D
| |
Everyone keep your doors locked and a close eye on your children, mass murder Randy Blythe is still on the lose.
| |
@math - aren't*
| |
This is a shitty situation, no doubt, but Randy didn't mean to kill the guy. I got in a lot of fist fights when I was young and someone could've died because of it, including me. Randy has shown that he has class and has handled himself well through this whole thing. The same can be said about the deceased fellow's family.
| |
fuck yeah
| |
yeah i'm not a fan of the guy but it's good news either way
| |
So much respect for Randy. He showed the world (or whoever noticed) that metalheads are just primal emotionless beings.
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
| |
yeah I noticed that too woops!
| |
"primal emotionless beings".....lol. Okay?
| |
I gained a lot of respect for this guy throughout this process.
Lamb of God still sucks, but props to Randy.
| |
This speaks so much for Randy and his character that he voluntarily sat through the whole process, much respect to this guy and glad justice was done. Definitely gonna jam some Ashes of the Wake later m/!
| |
Awesome.
Randy held it like a man!
| |
Glad to hear it. It would've been a bummer to incarcerate him over seas.
| |
SUCH IS THE RULE OF HONOR
| |
Glad he's out. Handled it all pretty well.
| |
what bullshit he should rot in jail
| |
Cone you are too hardcore man.
| |
"Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward."
The fuck you on about?
| |
Always good to see common sense prevail, there doesn't need to be a fall guy for an accident.
| |
@Omni, Randy says that in the intro to one of their songs.
| |
I bet coneren listens to Annotations of an Autopsy and Dying Fetus. Cool guy
| |
The LoG puns are strong here.
Glad everyone handled this as civil as one could possibly do so. Its a shame what happened to the kid, and hope safety and security will change to prevent fatal accidents like this.
| |
next step: presidency
| |
Great news!
| |
wonderful
| |
"@Omni, Randy says that in the intro to one of their songs."
Thanks KJ, seemed out of place and disjointed.
| |
now this matter can be laid to rest [2]
| |
Does the m/ really apply to metalcore? I kind of feel like that profanes the whole gesture.
| |
Does the m/ really apply to metalcore? I kind of feel like that profanes the whole gesture.
You haven't explored the genre at all. Plenty of good metalcore out there.
| |
Edit: Double post. Sorry.
| |
I'm sorry but people who think Lamb of God are a metalcore band don't know how to genres.
| |
moral of the story is, if you get up on stage while lamb of god is performing, they will kill you.
| |
@geasoftime
LoG, metalcore? learn2genre
| |
He was extremely mature about the whole situation.
| |
Good for Randy. Like many people said, he handled himself well.
| |
who fucking cares..
| |
Good shit I'm happy for him
| |
FUCK YAAA BITCHES AND SHIT!
| |
Good shit
| |
About fucking time! I'm happy for Randy, good for him
| |
Not a fan of him or the band but if you watch the video it was basically the security guard's fault for throwing the kid off the stage
| |
thanks for clearing that up.
| |
love the band and happy he was found not guilty etc.
| |
this whole ordeal will terrible PR for his Presidency campaign.
| |
A bit of faith in humanity restored.
I'm not a huge fan of LOG, but i'm pretty happy with this, and we all, as headbangers/LOG fans, should all be very proud on how Randy held himself through this. Very classy and level headed man.
| |
"Good thing we found a resolution.
But let's face it, the prosecution was set to fail from the start."
i see what you did there. Good news.
| |
And so is this unfortunate phase laid to rest.
| |
"I can't believe this murderer is going to be set free and allowed to kill again. Good job Czech justice system."
You're a fucking asshole
| |
This is what Randy said before the trial:
"It’s a beautiful morning in Prague, & time for me to go to what is (hopefully) my final day in court here- supposedly judgement will be passed today & I will move on with my life in one direction or the other. Which direction that is, I do not know. I could walk free, or conversely go to prison for up to ten years. Such is my life right now, & I must stay in this moment until its resolution. Whatever happens to me, do not feel sorry for me, for I am at peace & refuse to feel sorry for myself. Life happens. Deal with it. Some people cannot understand why I have returned, saying I should not come back here. KNOW THIS, & mark my words well- it would be absolutely intolerable for me to hide from this situation. I am an innocent man, but a family suffers the loss of a son, a fan of my band. That is what this whole thing is truly about, not prison, not money, not politics, not ME- it is about a young man who lost his life at just 19 years of age. He will never come back, & it breaks my heart. I would not be able to sleep at night knowing that I did not behave honorably & try to give his family some answers. That would be disgraceful, and I do not wish to dishonor myself or my family by acting in such a cowardly manner. I was raised to face my problems head on. For me, this is BEING A MAN. I categorically refuse to live in a constant state of guilt & fear. I would rather die. My morality & convictions are not dependent upon unforeseeable circumstance, nor malleable when difficulty arises. So I walk this morning to court with my head held high, no matter what others opinions of me may be. I have to face myself in the mirror, & tomorrow morning, where ever I may wake up, I will be able to do that without regret. This is THE ONLY path to true freedom for me- peace within myself. This is the manner in which I choose to try my best to live my life, & I hope you all do the same- do your best to do what is right, no matter how difficult it may be. I promise you, this will bring you peace. I thank you all for your support, I wish you all a good day, & to quote one of my favorite movies: STRENGTH AND HONOR."
No one has courage like Randy does
| |
"I can't believe this murderer is going to be set free and allowed to kill again. Good job Czech justice system."
Whoever said this either IS a fucking asshole, or incredibly unaware and therefore ridiculous for commenting on this.
| |
Holy fuck UnitK2K, that was incredible. So much respect for that man. Inspiring.
| |
What am I gonna do with all these "Free Randy" tshirts
| |
Double post.
| |
Hold on to them until Randy Bachman gets arrested.
| |
used to like these guys rip czech kid and gg randy
| |
Oh cool
| |
Good news to here and like others said, he handled everything really well but can't believe he was caught speeding and pee in public, such a disgrace
| |
This was possible because of the powers of the Based God.
| |
Good, accidents happen, sorry for the family's loss.
| |
Randy Blythe is a fucking beast and I don't even like LOG's music.
| |
never really liked LOG except for a couple of tracks way back in the day. but massive respect to randy. gonna jam laid to rest as a tribute.
| |
Glad he's free and innocent. Metal rules .
| |
it seems as if it was a good, clean and fair process. Good to see he got off. Saw him last year in canberra hes a great performer
| |
very nice, glad that this whole mess is over.
| |
I'm so glad this didn't turn into as big a mess as it looked like it was gonna turn into. My heart goes out to the victim's family and friends, but I also feel bad for Blythe, seeing as it was all an accident. God, I would feel HORRIBLE if I pushed some dude, and he ended up dying.
| |
omg such a good man hes got lots of courage and character!!!
has it occurred to any of you that everything he has said and done has probably helped the "not guilty" decision, and that coming back was the only option there was unless he wanted to start a bigger shitstorm?
| |
shut up chodehead
| |
.
| |
If he were in America we would've just bombed him with drones.
But in all seriousness, cool.
| |
He's still guilty of writing awful music
| |
