Just listened to it. It doesn't feel like a full song. It sort of trails off and doesn't really go anywhere. I'm disappointed.
|
| |
Now i don't wanna listen. I really enjoyed Dum Spero Spiro. Hope this doesn't fail
|
| |
It's not anything like their last album. It's actually a pretty slow track. Only clean singing.
|
| |
Its good. Also, that video must've taken forever to draw.
|
| |
Second listen and it was better. It must segue into another song. The ending is weird.
|
| |
Yeah a lot of their stuff is pretty out there, but if the ending is weird your prob right that it merges into another track.
|
| |
Damn that was quick. Thought I'd be able to put it up.
Felt like it trailed off pretty quickly at the end, but probably a segue. Better after a few listens. Good stuff though. Reminds me a bit more of UROBOROS material.
|
| |
Meh.
|
| |
haha I thought this was my news, I just submitted it a few minutes ago:p I really, really, dig this. I liked DUM SPIRO SPERO a lot, but UROBOROS is still definitely my favorite.
|
| |
People are saying this is a "promotional edit".
|
| |
Hmm... kinda reminds me of a more modern Macabre kinda song. Pretty good.
|
| |
First time I heard the 10-20 second preview (however long it was) I kinda got a vulgar vibe for some
reason, with a bit of uroboros. Now that I'm hearing this, I get more of an Uroboros vibe from the
vocals and DSS from the instrumentation. I'm kinda hoping the rest of the album continues to evolve
like all of their albums have, and they don't just settle into everything sounding like a mix of those
two albums.
But yeah, I posted this the second I saw it
About the ending, that kinda bugged me too. Maybe this is just a radio edit? On the one hand, I hope
so. On the other, that means i have to wait even longer to hear the full thing...
|
| |
Yea, this track seems like a grower for me.
The transition at 2:25 was weird though....
Same for the ending.
Yea apparently it's just a promotional edit.
|
| |
"On the other, that means i have to wait even longer to hear the full thing..."
You'll just have to wait to til the 19th when it's officially released.
|
| |
Ya this shoulda waited, it is an edit, ending is probably got the best part of the song, pretty much your typical
atMospheric balady dir en grey song with more synths than usual and a very exotic chorus
as for the middle transition, they always do that for some reason, vinushka, different sense, just abrupt changes, they
definitely need to tighten up on their writing and practice more build ups
full song is 5:42 long, so there is 2 minutes left out
|
| |
I don't really think this is the full track honestly, love the cleans.
|
| |
sweet

DIR EN GREY - 輪郭 (RINKAKU) (Promotion Edit Ver.)
So yeah.
|
| |
^^ that wasn't there before, they just changed it
|
| |
So we've confirmed there is a bit more to come for this song?
|
| |
not bad, if they could do a 50/50 split on the next album of material like this and the heavier stuff from their last album, that would be perfect
|
| |
Great, been waiting for the song since they announced the EP. Brings immediately Inconvenient Ideal and DSS associations.
|
| |
they are also remaking this 15 yr old song for the single
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vu0m3xwOYqk&feature=player_embedded
deepthroating pistol, wigs and makeup and all that.

Honestly, I love their transitions and buildups. The middle part of this song seems weird to me though...I'm guessing that there's a long instrumental part, and that's why it fades out - they cut it out, but couldn't transition the song together well without it.

Never really cared for this band.
|
| |
This track that has been released is just a promotion release, it isn't the whole song.
As for the song itself, I can't say I'm massive on it, but it isn't a bad song by any means.

DirEnRefused
um...
|
| |
Last album was amazing, will listen
|
| |
Not sure how I feel about this...
|
| |
We can't exactly say they're going softer from this track, all their singles lead you a stray. I excpected DSS to be heavy as hell, but there was quite a few easy listeining ones aswell.
|
| |

I'm looking more forward to the Akira Yamaoka remix of Rinkaku
|
| |
The odd transition at around 2:25 is because it's an edited version of the song. I'm sure that's not the only edit, given the awkwardly fast fadeout at the end as well.
|
| |
Solid track. It isn't nearly as heavy as the material from their last album but it is definitely still great. Also, it very clearly says at the end of the video that it is an 'edited promotional version'. Likely the track actually continues on and they cut it and faded a section of the initial portion of the track to hype people into buying the full single to hear the rest.
|
| |
It's nice
Dum Spiro Spero was amazing
|
| |
Can't say I care much for this band, but the video was interesting
|
| |
Do I like this band?
|
| |
Don't care for this band
|
| |
tend to love these guys' singles but I find their albums as wholes pretty boring
|
| |
listened to whole single, the intro is like 50 seconds long, there is like 30 seconds of building up in the middle gap and the ending is 30 seconds longer
the remix sounds like The faceless
the silent hill one is all silent hilldy
|
| |
How did you get it? : )
Edit: got it!
|
| |
'the silent hill one is all silent hilldy'
That's good, right?
|
| |
I must say that those new covers are getting a bit generic. Rasetsukoku was a killer, but Kiri to Mayu sounds uninspired.

I'm pretty sure they haven't released kiri to mayu yet...
