Trophywife call it quits 2012-08-23 by drasticaction74 | 41 Comments | According to their faceook page, the members of eastern PA post-hardcore group Trophywife have decided to part ways. They released their second and latest album Hold Onto Your Luck in July only months after having parted ways with original vocalist, Justin Harrison.
The past three years have been a complete rollercoaster for this band. We managed to accomplish things we never thought we'd be able to or get a chance to even attempt. From touring, two albums, a music video and tons of shows, they were all experiences we all yearned for and will continue to cherish as we move forward as musicians. After much consideration, it's been decided to lay Trophywife to
rest.
Thank you to everyone who ever helped us along the way. From getting us on shows, going to shows, stealing/buying/sharing our music, reviewing our albums, letting us sleep on your floor, buying our merch and singing or screaming along. It all meant so much to a small band like Trophywife. While the future is uncertain, we're going to continue to play music and start new bands and record new albums. This was an incredible experience and we'll never forget it.
