Epicus is the best doom release ever in my opinion.

I think they had decided to take separate ways some long time ago. Considering that Candlemass are
disbanding, Lowe was certain to leave either way and return to his former band.


I'm hoping that the band will return eventually to record their second album with Johan. I can't see
them returning with Messiah as their vocalist.

Matt Levin is great singer, you should check out the first Krux album, which also feature Lief from Candlemass. I think he will do them justice for sure. They had too many problems with Messiah to bring him back to the fold. I should try and get into the Robert Lowe releases, I have listened to them a couple times, but Johan and Messiah just kick ass with Candlemass.

Saw Candlemass live with Lowe 2 times and both of the times, Rob was reading some of the lyrics from a paper shit...I totally agree with the reason that they sacked him. Hope they won't disband and put another album(s) out. Mats Levén is a very good substitute for Lowe. Hope they make an album(s) with him in the mic.
