New PT Album to Feature Guests

2006-12-10 by Jom | 9 Comments
Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson and King Crimson's Robert Fripp will be making appearances on Porcupine Tree's next album, slated for an April 2007 release with Atlantic Records. Both Lifeson and Rush drummer Neil Peart have expressed their appreciation for Porcupine Tree, and engineer/producer Paul Northfiled has also worked with the two acts.

Rush is currently working on its new studio album.

Awesome, Adrian Belew and Micheal Akerfelt sounded so great on Deadwing, and Lifeson and Fripp are both amazing guitarists.

^Agreed.

And I also agree with Dragon, but throwing in Robert Fripp is possibly the greatest combination ever.
