New Radiohead Songs to Debut 2006-12-08 by Jom | 4 Comments | Thom Yorke will preview two new Radiohead tracks on piano. Where? On British television this month.
Producer Nigel Godrich (who has also worked with Beck) will debut his television show "From the Basement" on British television December 18. Yorke will be playing "Down is the New Up" and "Videotape" on piano. "From the Basement" will highlight artists writing and recording their music in the shelter of a television studio.
Other guests slated to make appearances on the show include Kieran Hebden, Steve Reid, and The White Stripes. Godrich's show is filmed in hi-def and the producer himself handles the live sounds. Video downloads will be available through both iTunes and Domino Records.
