Yeah, the band is pretty much done. Never properly listened to these guys, but the few songs I did listen to, he was the definite highlight. Sucks.

This legit saddens me. At least they have 2 really solid albums to go back to because nothing they make from here on out will be as good without Shane.

According to CYE's statement he had issues with his voice while touring. I most recently saw them on their headliner tour with Counterparts and I thought he sounded great as always.
