Robin Faas leaves Destine

2011-10-29 by simonpettersen | 10 Comments
Robin Faas, the drummer of the punk pop band Destine from the Netherlands has decided to leave the band due to issues with extensive touring. Robin will be replaced by the well known Dutch drummer Jordy Datema.

Robin commented the following about his departure;

“It’s a very tough decision to make, especially after all of the great moments I shared with my bandmates through the years all over the world. I really enjoyed the steps we’ve made and the great support from the fans; it has been an unforgettable ride. However, saying goodbye to my family and friends got harder and harder along the way and that made me realise I had to look forward and find the best step to make for me. I will miss the guys in the band, crew and everyone involved, but I feel that this is the exit I must take.”

They are pretty popular in Europe.

They're alright.

Yeah, they are really new, their debut dropped in 2009, and they have been touring and releasing videos ever since.. their next album is coming out in april, you should check them out. (if you don't like their debut you might like the second, it has a much more mature sound)
