Highlights = The audible bass, the fucking insane vocals, the oddly placed chorus, and the guitar solo that follows it

lol
|
| |
How's it compare to older stuff? I'm at work so I can't listen
|
| |
If you liked the single Hageshisa To, Kono Mune No Naka De Karamitsuita Shakunetsu No Yami you will dig this.
|
| |
songs really good
kyos range is just fucking ridiculous though
|
| |
Didn't hear that single. Will check this out later though.
Kyo's stage presence is unreal
|
| |
lol deathcore
|
| |
his voice is crazy; hope there's something as amazing as Vinushka on this one
|
| |
ive always secretly loved these guys its kinda shameful cuz you look on youtube and allt he fangirls are like OMG KYO IS SO KAWAAIAIIIIIII :3 HEARTSHEARTSHEARTS and yeah its embarrassing to admit to liking them imo
|
| |
kyo proving he is one of the best harsh vocalist in metal, no surprise here
|
| |
The fan girls do blow but you gotta admit Kyo is the fucking man with his vocals.
|
| |
The song was pretty kickass and of course Kyo's range was awesome.
|
| |
man this blew me away. and I didn't really care for most of uroboros
|
| |
Wow. Vocals holy shit. I had heard of this band before because my friend listened to it but i didn't expect it to sound like this at all.
|
| |
puts the "meh" in heavy mehtal
i'll stick with the old material
|
| |
Ripping. Kyo is the man here, as usual; absolutely insane vocals.
I'm pretty wtf-ing here over the heavy part at the beginning. It's almost straight deathcore, borderline generic, even, and seems to be completely anti-diru. Then again, the definition of what Dir en grey is keeps changing, so idkwtf. Chorus is great; its style is very reminiscent of the approach they took on Lotus.
Will have to wait for the rest of the album before I drop judgment on Dum Spiro Spero. Hope it can top Uroboros.
|
| |
Its funny but I think the deathcore beginning is a nice change-up, and the fact that its so off-putting at first is what makes it awesome haha
|
| |
dunno why every1 jacks off to uroboros, withering to death is their best release
|
| |
yea uroboros didn't hit me like withering to death did
|
| |
im not a huge fan so why does this feel like such a huge deal
anyway stuck man is the best song ever
|
| |
i'm partial to Vulgar, but everything past Kisou has been top notch.
they keep gaining a different range, or focus, with each new album, and then incorporate it into their own traditional (if i could call it that) style.
song slayed, but i expect no less from them.
|
| |
Hated the beginning i thought it was gonna suck but they saved it in the middle,

I find VULGAR to be their best release. Withering to Death after that.
