Production isn't horrible on this though. Maybe a bit too much reverb and shit on the clean vocals, but the instrument mixing is pretty good this time around; you can hear the bass.

Exactly what I was thinking. Still YDG'N is still my favorite song they've released from this album so far though.

There are other bands that can be considered "mallcore" but OM&M is not one of them imo.

really really good. Wasn't really on the hype train with Shaylee's vocals on the debut, but he sounds amazing in this.

and i'm loving how audible the bass is in the new songs.

I think they've definitely stepped it up for this album. Whether it's the songwriting, the vocal contrast, or the difference in style, it's pretty good. So far, this album is definitely shaping up to be better than their debut.

That's may be true but that's not saying much. Most Rise Records bands suck. Plus I don't like clean vocals much as it is.

Have you heard the cover they did of "Blame It" while he was in the band? It's the only studio recording with him in OM&M and it's TERRIBLE. His voice was fine for SEA, but he doesn't fit with this band at all. Not to mention, he talked shit about Austin all the time, which is annoying and disrespectful, regardless of how Austin is.
