I picked this album up after my girlfriend recommended this band to me and I had no idea (but I could pretty much speculate) as to what type of music they were. I listened to one song off Alaska and thought, umm...it's just noise. I was new to this style of music so I didn't care for it at first. I didn't actually pick up the album until about a year later. It's amazing how the album flows so perfectly. So far into my new exploration of music I would have to declare this as one of my favorite prog metal albums. For me, this album set the bar
