Listened to Fables for the first time in months this morning. Coincidence? I think not. I must be magic.

They've released demos of over half the songs that are probably going to end up on the album ("Musical Chairs" has been stuck in my head for a year now, no lie).
I'm kinda mad at the band right now. I was supposed to be seeing them with Scale the Summit and Periphery tomorrow night, but them and Scale the Summit pulled out of it. So damn pissed; I'd LOVE to see these guys live. Oh well...they go to Austin two days before Rise Against and Bad Religion, so maybe I'll just stick around and catch both shows ;-).

Woot! I can't decide how excited I am for this. I've listened to a lot of the live demos and I'm pretty split. Musical Chairs, Coppertank Island, and Golden Parachutes sound fucking awesome though.

i hope they dont try to appeal to the radio now that they are somewhat popular. an album full of dancing manatees or whatever would be so effing disappointing.

They said a long time ago this was going to be more raw soby, so I doubt you have to worry about that.

fables is decent yet a little to samey for me, hope this album shows a bit of diversity (not taking a gander the bigger they are the harder they fall, maybe something less lame)
