This is at least a step up from Portraits, even if the cd contains like 9 1/2 minutes worth of music.

Not a fan of this band, but I've always appreciated how solid his vocals are. They definitely got better since Portraits, tho. That album was embarrassing.

new album is pretty cool imo. listening right now. simplistic breakdowns are lame, but there are
some nice sweeps and the vox are pretty damn good.

brute: Far from closed-minded. I checked it out didn't I? The MUSIC itself is open chugging almost the whole time. It's not the fact that it isn't strictly death metal. It's the fact that the vocals are weak, the riffs are thin, etc.
