2010-09-02 by Spiritofmosa | 42 Comments
A fan-made Concert film of Radiohead has been released online for download and stream. The film takes place at Prauge's Výstaviště Holešovice Exhibition Hall on August 23, 2009, and was filmed with Phones by over 50 Czech fans.

Live audio masters from the show were provided to the Czech "filmmakers" by Radiohead, after which the film was edited to make the concert film called "Live in Praha" .

The film can be downloaded and streamed (from Youtube) from this link -

Downloading this sucks, the file is HUGE

File Size: 7.23 GB
Frame Size: 1280x720
Codec: H264 / Data Rate: 8.4 Mbps
Audio: 320kbps 44.1kHz

That's really good compression though, the quality is at least 3x better than the youtube stream.

Pretty much exactly what NIN did. Both of these should get awards for being the most fan-friendly bands.

Srsly, I've been anxious since that news article said the new album could be out in a "matter of weeks".
But this will do for now.

Another Version of the Truth.

Basically after Trent released The Slip for free, some fans set up a website (This One Is On Us) saying that they would capture video at concerts and make DVDs out of them and offer those DVDs for free. Trent started promoting it once he found out about it and eventually uploaded 400 GB of HD live video from three different shows for fans to download, edit, and do everything else themselves. It's taken about two years, but I got my DVD a few weeks ago.

Effing great, two hours of free live Radiohead? From a fan who has never had the opportunity to see them live this is a fantastic gift.

Both the audio and video are fantastic on the 7GB one
