I don't particularly dislike them, they just epitomize generic metalcore for me. They're probably the best of the lot but it's still generic metalcore. I do like "Six" though.

Jumping on the better than Overcome train. Im worried that this might be the only good one on the cd though; they have a habit of releasing the heaviest stuff early and saving the garbage for the bulk of the cd.

Gotta say if it lives up to anything close to this darkened heart i will be digging this album for a while. Judging an entire album on one song is pretty dangerous as this might be the only heavy track or some balls shit ridiculous thing like that (even though I doubt it). I doubt anything will touch Passion which is still my favorite song from these guys.

Side note: ALR and AILD on a tour again = something I will have to go see again. Especially if this CD kicks ass and most of the shit they play isnt off overcome.

Phil has such gnarly gutturals, glad he's making good use of them. He can do cleans very well imo but I still prefer his screaming. Looking forward to new album.

this is pretty good. i agree with everyone else it kinda sounds more like this darkened heart, the only thing i don't like are the gang vocals in the chorus, but definitely an improvement from overcome
