Musically, they're like Periphery and vocally, I dunno, Sikth or The Arusha Accord perhaps?

I agree with bloc's first comment. TesseracT is a really good band btw, check em' out if you haven't
heard em' before.

bloc kind of put it in place. this is sikth with a lite dab of veil of maya chugga lug (pretty much the same as circle of contempt, and other asorted sumerian bits). can certainly be overlooked, i just figured this was news worthy.

their other projects for the most part were better and going better places, so I understand the break up

It sounds like what i wanted fell silent to sound like.

Vocals are much more original, need to hear more stuff.

Oh fuck. Loved 'The Hidden Words' and was looking forward to the second album, but had this happening in the back of my mind. Will definitely keep an eye on Monuments as well from now on, that track is jackrabbits jizzing sunshine.

It's lulz how much they get/got overlooked considering they started doing this stuff long before it became hot. Cheers for the music lads!

They were done the second Acle went back to Tesseract full time, but damn were they good. They don't sound like Circle of COntempt really at all their vocal style is different, less aggressive drums, more layers in the melody, and they use lower tuned 7 strings.

I could never really get into these guys, which is somewhat surprising considering I usually enjoy their "brand" but...

Hopefully they will still be somewhat influential through their members work after the band.

Yeah, musically they are FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR apart. I can hear some similarities in the vocals though.
