I've never seen so many fans of a band actively hoping that there will be no new album. I've never listened to Refused because punk isn't my thing, but...if I really liked the band I would want something new, integrity or no.

LOL, what integrity? Ever listen to The (International) Noise Conspiracy's Armed Love? And btw they've already re-released Shape (in 5.1 DVD, with changes made to the mixes) and their EP/B-Sides compilations. They're grown men now, not stupid idealistic kids who can't support their own slogans.

Would be exciting to see what kind of material these guys would release if they did record again. No one's more aware of their legacy then they are, and I'm sure they wouldn't drop some half-arsed material just to try and revive past glories. In fact I'd be surprised they'd make any sort of announcement at all unless they had come up with some decent stuff and were reasonably happy with where it was heading.

Only disappointing thing was their last ever concert was broken up by authorities because of a riot or something, which is a pretty fucking cool way to go out.

i'm not gonna lie and say i don't wanna see these guys live. i watched at the gates on their reunion tour, and that shit slayed. if they have a one-off tour, and never do anything again, i'll die a happy man.

Man I loved Refused back in high school, never saw them live. I pretty much saw every known punk band around then during the mid 90s into mid 2000s.

I don't get the anger from some of these people. Actually it's just pure stupidity, So what they want to release a new album! Good, I havent heard anything from them since "Shape of Punk to Come" which to this day still is played frequently by me and I have had that album since I was 16/17.... Man I got old

on Sputnik.
