I probably won't like this. I really liked Dookie and about half of American Idiot but that's about it.

if they are creative enough they MIGHT pull this off, but they were never very creative in the first place so they are probably just gonna make 'Dookie Too' and make millions of dollars, as the kids are all gonna eat that shit up.

Yeah, I see your point. I think part of it is the fact that Green Day used to be good, so people wish they would die so that another crappy band, without a history, can take their place. Its the logic that its better to listen to something that you know has always been bad then to something that you know can be better.
