You may respect or enjoy converge's music more but realistically from a marketing point of view thursday is the top billet.

That being said musically they are two very different bands who have both done a shit ton to further their respective genres.

But i like post hardcore better so go thursday.

i could never get into Converge. too chaotic and not melodic enough for my tastes. Thursday, however, is pretty good, despite scene kids fucking their rep up.

Get a fake. Even the sorriest excuse of a fake ID will get you through concert security, and it's not like you don't have a ton of time to track one down.

Plus, I'm pretty sure most people won;t suspect an under 21 ID to be fake, so there's that too.

Saw the Thursday holiday show w/ Glassjaw and DEP in Jersey back in December.... United Nations was one of the openers which I thought included the drummer from Converge? It was pretty stupid for Rickley to open w/ United Nations though because all of the screaming completely thrashed his voice and he had trouble hitting all of the high notes when Thursday went on. It was a killer show regardless.

I might be wrong, but If thursday was the band that was added to the Converge tour they are probably opening... or maybe they might alternate or something.
