Most likely won't be a s great as their albums from their heyday but Heretic wasn't too bad, should be a decent listen

Kinda assumed it'd come out this year. Also pretty stoked. I want to hear what this band is like half a decade later.

these guys are always good for some solid death metal, and their first 4 albums are definite classics.

Heretic was a fantastic album, as good as anything they have ever done musically and vocally. Trey is without a doubt the pinnacle of death metal guitar playing so I think the new album is going to be a scorcher...

i havent really liked anything cept Altars from them, Gateway was ok too.

however looking at "death metal" nowadays im sure the new album will be a breath of fresh air

Their new song 'Nevermore' sounded pretty good, I think it will be a good album. Speaking of Nevermore, I am psyched for their upcoming album.

I know they've spent some of the past six years touring but these long breaks between albums are killing me.

it hasn't been reported on this site, but Tim Yeung is doing drums for this album, pete sandoval has a back injury thus not allowing him to record.

I go back and forth on Heretic, as with pretty much all of their albums outside of Altars and Covenant. I'm interested though.

Domination and Heretic were pretty bad albums, and they were the last two albums David Vincent and Steve Tucker did with Morbid Angel. It's been seven years since that abomination Heretic and fifteen since Domination. I am not expecting the greatness level of Altars of Madness, or even Blessed Are the Sick and Covenant. I expect a quality album from the guys that would be on par with or better than Formulas Fatal to the Flesh and Gateways to Annihilation. I can't wait for this album.

looks like 2010 came and went, and nothing - lol I guess we can expect something in 2011?
