Da 80z r alive!
| | | cool. guess metallica and anthrax didn't pan out
| | | it's better that way
| | | this is going to be one hell of a tour, i must say.
| | | Between this and Townsend I might as well buy a house in Denver.
| | | amen to that Bullitt Bill.
| | | Definitely skipping out on Cynic/Townsend for this.
| | | Slayer are headlining? I don't think that would be the case in the UK, but obviouslly I wouldn't know so much States-wise
| | | I approve.
| | | wish metallica woulda been in this
| | | I can't see Megadeth and Metallica touring together. Unless they already have.
| | | February 18, 2010 London, ON John Labatt Centre
SO FUCKING GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
| | | This so much awesome, too bad they're not coming anywhere near me Oh well, it's great that they're all touring together for once.
ULTRA MEGA THRASH TOUR FTW!!!!!1
| | | It would be better if they got rid of Megadeth and Testament. Both bands are soooooooo fucking boring live.
| | | I think Anthrax would be a nice edition or maybe some S.O.D.
No Missouri dates....
| | | February 1, 2010 Duluth, GA Gwinnett Arena
ROADTRIP!
| | | Slayer on their own dominate both bands with ease. I would love to see a great death metal band open up for Slayer. Now that would be much better.
| | | Awwwww Sh*t!
Seattle...
| | | No love for Florida I see. Would have been awesome, though.
| | | yeah, fuck them for skipping florida
| | | Not a single maryland date? Not even at Sonar? :[
| | | I think the best tour name ever would be Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Megadeth
THE IRON METALLIDETH TOUR
...anyone?
| | | fffffff, going to see Megadeth in a month. Wish THIS tour was coming here.
| | | is it too hard to come to Ohio or Indiana? Seriously, the fuck?
| | | Gah! Now I have to choose between BTBAM/Cynic and this. Hard decision.
| | | Holy crap, what a lineup. Although I'm partial to Metallica, this still kicks copious amounts of ass. I'll be there February 13... but no NYC date? Would be more convenient.
| | | What did Florida do to deserve this? Dave must really hate Florida lol
| | | whoa that's gonna be crazy
| | | fuck metallica. megadeth was always better anyway. i dont care to ever see metallica, they havent been good since 1991.

February 18, 2010 London, ON John Labatt Centre
I'm there
| | | I saw Slayer and Megadeth in Calgary in the summer it was pretty awesome...Headcrusher was amazing live, I still regret not seeing them open for Heaven & Hell a few years back.
| | | Yeah I had Slayer and Megadeth out in NZ not long ago.
Wish it had been Testament instead of Slayer though....
| | | omg i wish this would come to australia......without tom arayer having a fucked voice
| | | Crush mg... That was done crica black album...
If we are going for all out thrash madness have we forgotten Exodus anyone?
Feb 2 is going to be a pretty metal day indeed...
| | | Screw Anthrax, and as for Metallica, I'll take the price break instead, thank you! Their absence knocks a hundred dollar off the price probably. IMO, there couldn't be a better three-band thrash line-up. I'll be there at the Cow Palace.
| | | As for Anthrax, how can anyone expect them to tour without a vocalist?
| | | Louisville, Ky FUCK YES
| | | "Screw Anthrax, and as for Metallica, I'll take the price break instead, thank you! Their absence knocks a hundred dollar off the price probably. IMO, there couldn't be a better three-band thrash line-up. I'll be there at the Cow Palace."
My floor tickets to Metallica/Down/The Sword were only $75.00.
| | | As always, no one (good) ever comes down here to Florida.
| | | It's funny because in Guitar World 2 months ago King was talking trash about Dave Mustain
| | | safgasgag
| | |
My floor tickets to Metallica/Down/The Sword were only $75.00.
No regular concert should ever cost that much, that price should be for really special events only.
And I can't understand the dilemma with choosing between BTBAM/Townsend and this.
| | |
February 18, 2010 London, ON John Labatt Centre that's three of us going then
and i hope all three bands get equal sized sets
| | | I think I paid $60 for Metallica/Down/The Sword tickets howeverlongago. But after the handing and "convience" fees, it was probably around 75-80. A lot of money, but I figure that I've dropped that at the bar like it was nothing more than once, so fuck it.
| | | oh shit i thought that date was in the real london >
| | | Metallica w Down and the Sword at $75 = case in point. This show is an unbelievable $40. Had Metallica and Anthrax been on the tour instead of Testament, this would have easily topped a hundred, and just the for the Big 4 being together in the first place, could've reached upward of $150 for decent seats at an arena. This will be even a smaller venue (in my area, at least)
SICK!!!
| | | Testament is the best band of all the thrash choices here. They should have gotten Exodus too
| | | What is it with Megadeth and not coming to Pennsylvania?
Must've been Gigantour in Reading...
| | | If it wasn't at fucking UIC Pavillion I would consider going to this... but seriously, unless you're willing to pay the $150 for floor tix, it's worthless to "see" a show there.
| | | NASHVILLE?? YESSSSSS
| | | "No regular concert should ever cost that much, that price should be for really special events only."
Like what? Disney on ice? Metallica/down/the sword was a great show and worth every penny.
| | | February 18, 2010 London, ON John Labatt Centre
I'm there
KILL, where the fuck do you live? Please meet me at the show dude!
| | | " 'No regular concert should ever cost that much, that price should be for really special events only.' "
"Like what? Disney on ice? Metallica/down/the sword was a great show and worth every penny."
I'd pay $150 to see Metallica on Ice. That'd be a special event.
| | | Rabble rabble rabble, Slayer is better, rabble rabble rabble, excessive tremolo picking, horribly disorganized riffs, random directionless scale regurgitation, and monotone yelling equate to musical talent, rabble rabble rabble.
Slayer fanboys are almost as bad as Metallica fanboys. The Exotestadeth tour is essentially a Big Four tour thrown through a bullshit filter and augmented with bands that still make good music.
