I didn't like them much at first either, but once you get into them you REALLY get into them. Not that everyone should like them granted.

I've owned Mabool for about 4 years plus too many spins to count and I will always find their brand of melodic death metal to be medicore. Plus, the cultural elements feel very forced and unnecessary. Just my thoughts on the album.

Would have preferred a vague one word title but the album will still rule regardless.

There is more drama, more anger, more sorrow and less filler

Some people thought the middle songs were filler. Personally I thought every song was good but Icipher and Blind at Heart (think i got the names right) never stood out as being special.

and it kicks off the next 20 years in a great way

Focus Shift is the closest thing to filler, but it's still a nice song. Maybe they thought every song but the top three as filler. And now they make an album with quality comparable to Terminus, Icipher and Blind at Heart (Oh, the irony).

Blind at heart was definitely the best song off fiction. I much preferred character though, so hopefully they go back to a more raw, less polished sound. But I can't see it happening tbh...

Focus Shift seems lame and unncessary as well as Blind at Heart.

Both those songs rule. Focus Shift has one of their best riffs ever imo.

Blind At Heart is one of the best songs on the album.

And yeah, Lunar, it should be just called Void.

Or "The Void" or whatever. Void is a cool word, but anything with "We Are..." is just lame.
