I speculate that it will sound pretty similar to their last four albums and be deserving of a rating somewhere from a 3 to a 4, yet will nonetheless end up with a 4.1 on this site and get upwards of twenty 5/5s the day it leaks.

Which is what seemed to happen with Thrice and Converge.

That's the funny thing about aggregate ratings - it'll be "deserving" of whatever score it gets. It's too bad your score doesn't count for more than everyone else's.

Definitely get In Rainbows; its their best since Kid A, which is still indescribable to me. Plus, its probably their most accessible album since OK Computer.

Oh, and BigHans, Radiohead is most likely NOT going to do The Bends Part 2, cuz every album sounds unique. If they do, tho, I might cry.

I doubt Yorke was misquoted that badly. It's not exactly news that he sees differently to the rest of the band.

i guess a band who has changed everything they do each time they record is dull-as-piss... especially since everything they do is imitated. face it... most bands wish they had the talent, money, influence, power, and legacy radiohead has. i'd be the douche that thom yorke is too if i were in his place.
