2006-07-09 by DesolationRow | 19 Comments
According to various websites, the Red Hot Chili Pepper's next single, Tell Me Baby, to be released on July 17th in North America, will be paired with three different B-Side tracks on two different singles. The three B-Sides will include a live track. The songs are entitled A Certain Someone, Mercy Mercy, and End of Show Lyon.
Tell Me Baby has a video released, which is played on various networks worldwide, and available on YouTube and Google Video. The video documents people who go to Los Angeles in search of stardom, and are denied their dreams. Flea has been quoted saying that it is the best video the band has ever done.

"Tell Me Baby" is awesome. "Stadium Arcadium" is an awesome album, just not what I wanted exactly.

I like the song, but there are so many better ones on this album. I can't wait for the next single.

why didnt they release charlie as a single..?

pretty much agree with pteck. tell me baby is a nice song but there are better. i guess it's the most radio-friendly one and has a sing-along chorus...

I kind of wish they'd of stayed with their old style of music. But in the same respect, they would not have the fame that they have now if they kept with the original stuff. Stadium Arcadium's a great album but nothing beats Freaky Styley and co.

I thought for sure Snow would be the next single! I need to check out this video! I love the album though and I'm very pumped to see them with The Mars Volta in september.

Seriously, had the Chili Peppers stuck with their original style their career would have ended along time ago. People complain because they change, but if they just re-hashed BloodSugarSexMagik again and again everyone would have assaulted them for it. Bands change, and whether it sucks or not, it is nessacary. And I like the video, and the song quite a bit.

Ya, I'm seeing them in September(25th) too, kinda more looking forward to The Mars Volta opening for them, mostly cause I guess they will be playing alot Stadium Arcadium songs, good album but I'd rather see some other songs live. Snow should've been the second single. This Message Edited On 07.13.06This Message Edited On 07.13.06

Tell Me Baby is a good one, but the Catholic School Girls Rule video is the best (IMO)

i saw the concert they did in Denver on the 18th of August and it was pretty much one of my best experiences. even my 52 year old dad said it was like the the 2nd best concert hes been to and hes been to plenty. they are completely awsome live and they have a great set list going. they had 6 songs from SA and did Me and my Friends and even Funky Monks. Dont wanna ruin it for anyone seeing them, but i like the mars volta except the live show did not sound too good. the guitar was always too high pitched and they only did 1 song off de- loused. Overall, they were on stage for like 40 or 50 minutes. dont worry about too much SA material, there wont be too much.
