Also, this little gem can be found there...
The Believer: Do you feel like there's any definitive sound that you've been solidifying over your career?
Thom Yorke: I fucking hope not.

yeah just read this on pitchfork
makes me sad tbh but could make them split into AWESOME side projects and shit
|
| |
yorke/greenwood duo would be insane
|
| |
didn't sound like they would necesarily split... just not be releaseing LPs in exchange for smaller pieces, thank god.
|
| |
No Lps right away. I'm sure they will release one again, it will just be a while. but in the meantime that collaboration sounds like something to be excited for.
|
| |
Thom Yorke - Mikael Akerfelt collaboration, Sputniker's heads would explode.
|
| |
Haha love that quote.
|
| |
sweet, let em go out on top. if they want to stop thinking, i say go for it
|
| |
sounds great, i'd definitely listen to it

johnny greenwood is the only interesting thing about radiohead anymore. his arrangements keep getting better. I'm up for more orchestrations.
as for thom well, I get where he's coming from.

Greenwood is quite a brilliant composer. If this is any bit as fantastic as his work on There Will Be Blood I will explode.
